Agri Tips - On Monday Prices of Mustard seed closed
higher by 1.85 % at the National Commodity & Derivatives
Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the decrement in the supply
for the commodity in the major markets. At the NCDEX, July 2015
contract of mustard seed futures closed at Rs. 4,240 per quintal, up
by 1.85 %, after opening at Rs. 4,167 against the last closing price
of Rs. 4,163. It reached the intra-day high of Rs. 4,265.
India manufactures 5.5 million MT to7 million MT
yearly & about 0.15 million MT is retained for sowing and direct
consumption as seed which leaves around 4.8-5.1 million MT for
